Islamic P&I Club (IPANDI) is pleased to announce that VIMCARIES has been appointed as a representative of the Club in Vietnam. VIMCARIES is a strategic joint venture between Vietnam’s state-owned maritime leader VIMC and Aries Energy & Transport Corp.—a Greece-based company active in shipping, energy, and large-scale transport infrastructure across Europe and Asia. The initiative is led by Captain Gabriel Petridis, CEO of Aries, who brings over 40 years of maritime industry experience to the helm of this operation and maintains a close relationship with Vietnam’s maritime sector.
Although VIMCARIES was initially formed to serve the broader maritime market in Vietnam, it is now also authorized to represent IPANDI by engaging with both state-owned and private Vietnamese shipping and trading companies, introducing the Club’s protection and indemnity services. This collaboration marks a renewed and focused approach to IPANDI’s presence in Southeast Asia. The addition of VIMCARIES to its network enhances this presence and reflects IPANDI’s commitment to fostering localized, high-impact partnerships within Vietnam’s dynamic maritime landscape.
